Abstract
Used Li-6400,the transpiration dynamic variation of Phyllostachys edulis was determined in deferent time scales. The results showed that the diurnal variation of transpiration rate(Tr) changed with season, bimodality in summer and autumn, and single peak curve in winter and spring. The annual variation of transpiration followed a single peak curve, the peak(3.90 mmol m-2·s-1)occurred in August, the lowest was only 0.29 mmol m-2·s-1 in January, and the annual mean of Tr was 1.46 mmol m-2·s-1.Compared with the photosynthetic dynamic variation of Phyllostachys edulis, the diurnal variation of transpiration and photosynthesis were identical in the same season;but the annual variation was difference,three-peak-curve to photosynthesis and single-peak-curve to transpiration.
