Urban Landscape Ecological Classification: A Case Study of Shenzhen City

Abstract

Based on the review of Chinese urban landscape classification and the ecological features of urban landscape, the author points out that urban landscape ecological classification should be based on the inter-relationship between human and earth, fully reflecting the modes of human activities, and the disturbance of human activities on urban landscape, and the urban landscape resistibility to the disturbance. A case study of Shenzhen is discussed on the basis of analyses above.
