Abstract

The relationship is expounded between college physical education and quality education. Considering the present inadaptability of physical education to quality education,the authors put forward a reform for its adaptability. Since quality education is aimed at countering the tendency of education for examinations, it embodies the eseence of education, which is to promete students all round development; its characteristics are integral, comprehensive and independent. Therefore, quality education demands higher standards,more colourful teaching contents,more scientific teaching methods in order to bring up talented students with higher qualities and adaptability.
