Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect and the safety of Azithromycin-Clindamycin alternate treatment for pediatric mycoplasmal pneumonia. Methods: 76 cases of pediatric mycoplasma pneumonia were divided into two groups: Azithromycin-Clindamycin alternate treatment group (n=30) and Azithromycin treatment group (n=46). In Azithromycin-Clindamycin alternate treatmet group, Azithromycin was given by intravenous drips in the first three days (1/d, 10 mg/kg-1·d-1), Clindamycin was given by intravenous drips in the following four days (2/d, 40 mg/kg-1·d-1), and Azithromycin was again given by intravenous drips from the eighth day to the tenth day with the same dosage. In Azithromycin treatment group, Azithromycin was given by intravenous drips for three days (1/d, 10 mg/kg-1·d-1). Results:The effect of the Azithromycin-Clindamycin alternate treatment was better than that of the Azithromycin treatment, while there was no significant difference in the adverse effect incidence between two groups. Conclusion:The effect of Azithromycin-Clindamycin alternate treatment for the pediatric mycoplasma pneumonia is better than that of Azithromycin treatment.
