Study on Development of Minority Tourist Resources in Chongqing

This paper discusses concepts related to minority tourism,analyzes the resource basis for developing minority tourism in Chongqing,the status quo of utilization of minority tourism resources in Chongqing,and the existing problems,and puts forward strategies to develop minority tourism resources in Chongqing: to strengthen the publicity of the cultures,histories and customs of minorities in Chongqing,to emphasize the authenticity of minority tourist products in Chongqing by various means,to make the public know and appreciate the minority tourism resources in Chongqing through school education and training,to attract local minorities to manage and develop local minority tourism resources,to practically resolve the traffic problem,a bottle neck to minority tourism resources in Chongqing,and to strengthen local environment protection.
