Abstract
Effects of different sowing date, density and nitrogen application on grain yield and (quality) property in middle gluten wheat were studied by using Wanmai 44 as material. The result showed that the correlation (between) the application rate of N-fertilizer and the grain yield was quadric curved lines; and the correlation (between) the application rate of N-fertilizer and the protein (content), wet gluten content, zeleny, water (absorption), (development) time, stability time and farinograph (quality) number were significantly positive; and with the (degree) of softening was significantly negative on the range from 0 to 300 kg/hm~2 of N (application). (Increasing) N (application) amount (increased) protein content, wet gluten content, zeleny and farinograph (quality) number, (reduced) (degree) of softening; and prolonged (development) time and stability time. The grain yield and grain (quality) were improved greatly for nitrogen (application) at (elongation) stage compared with the fertilization (treatment) at the other stages. To produce (medium-gluten) wheat, the suitable N amount (applied) on middle (fertility) land ranges from 150 to 225 kg/hm~2 in Huaibei (region). There were remarkable effect of sowing date and (density) on grain yield and relative small effect on the (quality).
