Ecocriticism and Interdisciplinary Studies

Ecocriticism convincingly reveals that the global ecological crisis is in nature the crisis of our entire civilization, of human nature and of the imagination. To root out the ecological crisis, we get emancipated from anthropocentrism and break the barriers of traditional disciplines. We must on one hand dig out the ecological intension of cultural traditions and bring to light the inseparable affinity between man and nature, and on the other hand view the complex causes of ecological crisis in multi-perspectives and comprehensively culturally diagnose and treat it, so as to reform human culture fundamentally.
