The treatment of deep wound infection after operation with internal fixation of limb closed fracture

Objective To investigate the results of treatment in deep wound infection after operation with internal fixation of limb closed fracture. Methods 18 cases of deep wound infection after limb operation were analyzed retrospectively. On the base of treatment of nutrition support and reasonable antibiotic,9 cases had debridement and dressing changing ( group A) ,9 cases had debridement and irrigation-suction system ( group B) ,then the conclusion could be obtained. Results All deep infection of wounds got healed at last, The average time of healing in all the wounds was 27 days( from 21 to 60 days) . Group B had better result than that of group A. Conclusion The excellent or good outcomes of treatment in deep wound infection after operation of limb closed fracture could be obtained through the full treatment. debridement with dressing changing and debridement with irrigation-suction system have their own advantages in clinical application.
