The Disaster Film and the Self-interrogation of Human Beings

Ecological crisis is the biggest crisis that human beings have to face with.With the unique perspective,the film entitled 2012 demonstrates the worries that the ecological crisis causes.Based on this,this paper attempts to discuss the relationship between human development and environment from five aspects:the metaphor of the disaster film,the arrogance and the stupidity of human beings,ecological crisis and the potential danger,environmental justice and life ethics,and the reconstruction of the relationship between human beings and nature.Furthermore,it points out the origins from which the crisis emerges,the importance of eliminating the crisis as well as some suggestions concerning it.
