Abstract
This paper illustrates the theoretical the Primary Principle to the Top Important Task, and their scientific denotations. On this basis, the paper goes on to verify the viewpoint that development is also the top important task for political and ideological work. from the perspectives of scientific acknowledgement of the status or nature of political and ideological work, its merits and demerits and the other four related aspects:the realization of all - round personal and of simultaneous in political and ideological work with the ever - changing world, and the realization of the personal in political and ideological workers themselves. Finally, the paper makes some proposals as to how to improve the political and ideological work in schools of higher learning, especially such work among the teachers there.
