Abstract

Chen Zhengren was one of the founders for Jinggangshan Revolutionary Basearea.During the period of Jinggangshan struggle,he participated in leading Wanan Uprising and acted as the CPC secretary of Shuichuan county committee and deputy secretary of Xiang-Gan Frontier Committee successively,leading the Shuichuan and Xiang-Gan Frontier people to develop the armed struggle,found the democratic government,wage the agrarian revolution,promote the construction of the party and uphold the right revolutionary line.He stayed at Jinggangshan leading the struggle when the Red Army main force left,making a great contribution to the establishment and development of Jinggangshan Revolutionary Basearea.
