Abstract

5 rhizobium strains (S0710,S0713,L0701,L0702 and P0701) were selected from 22 strains which were separated from Medicago sativa L., Medicago lupulina L. and Medicago polymorpha L. The 5 strains all grew normally at pH5, S0713 and P0701 even grew in the acid medium with pH4. In acid medium, the Al3+ tolerances of L0701 and P0701 were better, but S0710 was sensitive to Al3+.
