Abstract
Through the analysis on how to choose the tip-speed ratio of vertical axis wind turbine,this paper presents the relationship formulas for the angle of attack of blade and the turning angle of rotor,then it calculates and analyses the angles of attack of blade based on different tip-speed ratioes.Finally the optimal tip-ratio of vertical axis wind turbine and the relevant design requirements are given.
