Abstract

Nanotechnology is an advanced science technology,at present,polymer/montmorillonite nanocomposites is one of the most important classes of materials.Performances of polymer/montmorillonite nanocomposites are improved significantly for the specific structure of layered silicate,making organic modification for nanocomposites.The main methods of preparation,characterization of structure and performance of the polymer/montmorillonite nanocomposites and it's application in the field of packaging are discussed, hoping that high performance's nanocomposites with special function will be developed in future.
