Abstract
From the viewpoint of change in cost, the analysis has been made on the incentive and impact of process innovation of enterprises. It is concluded that in either competitive or cooperative environments, lowering of cost can increase an enterprise's income and reduce its competitors' income and that cooperation can increase its income but can decrease its incentive of innovation.
