Abstract
This paper reports a facile preparation of the cellulose-chitosan(m/m=2/1) composite film by mixing a solution of cellulose in ionic liquid of 1-(2-hydroxylethyl)-3-methylimidazolium chloride and a solution of chitosan in acetic acid solution. The composite film was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer(FT-IR),X-ray diffraction(XRD),thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA),digital picture and scanning electron microscope(SEM).The results of IR,XRD,TGA showed that composite film is composed of cellulose and chitosan molecules and exists an interaction including hydrogen bond between the molecular of cellulose and chitosan.SEM showed the surface of the composite is uniform and rough. The as-prepared composite film may be a potential biomedical material.
