Effects of comprehensive nursing intervention on negative emotions and prognosis of middle-aged and young patients with chronic heart failure

Objective To explore the effects of comprehensive nursing intervention on negative emotions and prognosis of patients with chronic heart failure. Methods We selected 90 cases of hospitalized patients with chronic heart failure in the department of cardiology in our hospital. They were randomly divided into the intervention group( n = 45,missing 2 cases) and the control group( n = 45,missing 4 cases). The intervention group received comprehensive nursing intervention,including psychological intervention,health education,standard telephone follow- up and so on. While the control group received routine care. The score of SAS,score of SDS,readmission frequency,readmission days were measured after the intervention. Results There were significant differences in score of SAS,score of SDS,readmission frequency,readmission days between the two groups( P 0. 05). Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention can reduce negative emotions of patients with chronic heart failure,and can reduce readmission frequency and readmission days. It's an effective intervention.
