Abstract
Through the use of the elderly's general situation questionnaire,SF-8quality of life scale and social support rating scale on the rural Uygur elderly people with method of face-to-face questionnaire investigation.The results showed that the quality of life of elderly people was affected by theirs social support and family or marriage situation.Whether the each dimension scores of social support or total scores were all positively correlated with the scores of physical component summary,mental component summary and the quality of life's total scores(r=0.113~0.306,P0.05),the differences of quality of life scores between different elderly's family and marriage situation was statistically significant(P0.05).
