Abstract

This paper gives a detailed introduction about wetland in three aspects: divisions, types and functions. Based on the research of features and current situation of wetland in china, and the measures which are taken to protect wetland as well as its prospects in China, the author exposes the great urgency and necessity to protect wetland, in order to make sustainable use of it.
