Abstract

A numerical simulation is conducted on steam soak production in heavy oil reservoirs in combination with the characteristics of reservoir geologic characters in Fault Block Z411.A geologic model is established and a history matching is performed on the production performance.The parameters of injection and production are optimized and the production performance is predicted for steam soaking in the block.By studying the optimized injection-production parameters the optimized parameters are established,which include the amount of steam injection is 1000t in the first period,the second period is 1100t,the third is 1200 t,the 4th and consequent periods are 1400 t.unloading speed in production wells is 30 t/d,the minimum bottomhole flow pressure is 20 MPa.The software is used to predict the production indexes of steam soak in Fault Block Z411,including recovery factors,accumulated oil production,accumulated oil and steam ratio.
