Cannulated Screws with Tension Band In Treatment Of Patella Fracture

Abstract

Objective:To explore the clinical effect of cannulated screws with tension band in treatment of patella fracture.Methods:The results and complications of 46 patients whose patella fractures were cured witi cannulated screws with tension band from 2002 to 2005 were observed and analyzed.The followed-up time was 1 year.Results:The clinical effect of this method was satisfactory,no delayed union and nonunion,no complication. Conclusion:Cannulated screws with tension band for treatment of patella fracture can not only fix the fracture rigidly,but also avoid complications effectively.It is a promising method.
