Abstract
The behavioral response of larvae of the cotton bollworm to the transgenic-Bt cotton and non-transgenic cotton was measured using an “H olfactometer. The results show that the repellence of transgenic-Bt cotton to 2nd instar larvae was stronger than non-transgenic cotton during the cotton bolls stage and the cotton buds stage, but this difference was not significant when 3rd instar larvae were tested.
