Abstract
In this paper, an embedded multi-path video monitoring system based on ARM9 microprocessor AT91RM9200 of company ATMEL is introduced. This system adopts the embedded Linux operation system, and does the A/D conversion of 4 video streams by using the chip TW2834 of company TECHWELL, and also compresses and codes the adopted multi-path video signals by using the MPEG-4 special coding chip IME6500 of company IMTIME. And thus, the MPEG-4 video stream is generated.
