Abstract

In the modern Chinese history,Chinese people never ceased their dauntless struggle and the Chinese national spirit changed from backwardness to modernization.During this more than 100 years,the development of Chinese national spirit modernization experiences three stages:opening and blending stage,self-reformed stage and surpass stage.Marxism was introduced into China and adapted to Chinese conditions is an epoch-making event for the development of Chinese national spirit.There was a qualitative change to make Chinese nation accomplish spiritual modernization before social modernization.
