Abstract

The multiple-attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems with different forms of preference information are investigated. A new approach is proposed to solve the MAGDM problems with three forms of preference information, such as preference ordering, AHP judgment matrix and linguistic term set. First, the method on how to transform preference ordering and linguistic term set to AHP judgment matrix is studied, then, to reflect decision makers' preference information, a linear goal programming model is constructed to obtain compromise attribute weights. Finally, an example is used to illustrate the usage of the proposed approach.
