Abstract
Based on the geological hazard investigation in the Liubeichi district and combining the terrain condition and geomorphic characteristics of the slope, the representative sections are selected for modeling analysis of dangerous rock movement characters. The movement form of rockfall is ascertained by analyzing the movement process at different sites on the slope. According to the movement form of rockfall, the corresponding formula is adopted to describe the rockfall movement path. Thus reasonable suggestions are put forward to prevent the hazard by the rockfall path. It provides the theory of rockfall hazard prevention, and also is of significance in guiding engineering practice.
