Abstract

[Objective] The study aimed to formulate the criteria and corresponding control standard of total phosphorus(TP) in lakes.[Method] The reference values of criteria and control standard for total phosphorus in Hulun,Taihu and Dianchi lakes were formulated using probability statistics and model analysis.[Result] The content of nutrients in Hulun,Taihu and Dianchi lakes were always in an eutrophication state,and Hulun Lake was a naturally dominated eutrophic lake,while Taihu and Dianchi lakes were anthropogenically dominated eutrophic lake.In addition,the reference values of TP criteria and control standard were 0.08 and 0.20 mg/L respectively in Hulun Lake,0.03 and 0.06 mg/L respectively in Taihu Lake,and 0.06 and 0.15 mg/L respectively in Dianch Lake.These phosphorus criteria and control standards in three lake are very useful for lake eutriphication control.[Conclusions] These criteria and control standards of total phosphorus in the three lakes are very useful for lake eutrophication control.
