Study of several problems of power grid planning in power market environment

Abstract

The power grid planning system, the power grid investment system and the transmission pricing system in the power market environment both abroad and at home were summarized. The new problems and challenges encountered in power grid planning in power market environment were analyzed, especially the uncertainties in market condition. The new models and methods for solving the power grid planning problems in market condition were summed up and problems needing further efforts to settle for power grid planning in power market environment were put forward.
