Abstract

Purpose To evaluate the value of stereotactic mammography needle localized biopsy (SNLB) in the location and qualitative diagnosis of nonpalpable breast lesion (NPBL).Methods SNLB was performed on 36 cases to localize and determine the nature of NPBL.Results The study showed that the location was satisfactory in 31 of 36 cases with 16 cases breast cancer and 20 cases benign breast lesion.Conclusion SNLB will be great valuable in the diagnostics of NPBL and early breast cancer,especially making the role of location and qualitative determination on NPBL.
