Abstract
Considering that the current RFID security authentication protocol based on the Hash function has many security problems because of fake readers, and that it also has the weakness of low authentication protocol efficiency,a new RFID security authentication protocol based on the Hash function was put forward. The security ability of the protocol was compared with other protocols and proved by formal analysis.Theoretical analysis and formal proof show that the protocol can protect the data privacy, achieve the data synchronization, prevent the tag from location tracking, avoid information reproduction and prevent clone and counterfeit. The protocol also possesses forward security ability and it is useful for low-cost tags.
