Abstract
During construction of high-rise buildings, deformation of adjacent tunnel was monitored. The influence of pile foundation under high-rise buildings on adjacent tunnel is analyzed. Additional settlements of tunnel due to the influence of pile foundation are obviously less than monitoring data. Most far monitoring point is about 1 pile length to the main building, and can be approximately considered at influence edge of the main pile foundation. If the measured settlement of 7 monitor points is relative to the most far monitoring point, the predicted additional settlements are in agreement with the result measured. It is indicated that there are other factors leading to additional settlements. Possibility of the influence of land subsidence and subsidence by vibration to tunnel is discussed. Land subsidence has reduced the measured settlement of the long pile foundation.
