Abstract
OBJECTIVE To determine the total ash,acid-insoluble ash and total inorganic salt in Radix Aconiti lateralis praeparata slice.METHODS According to Chinese Pharmacopoeia, the total ash and acid-insoluble ash were determined.EDTA titration was adopted to identify the total inorganic salt.RESULTS The total ash,acid-insoluble ash and total inorganic salt contents in Radix Aconiti lateralis praeparata slice were widely different, and significantly higher than the contents in crude aconite root. The total ash and inorganic salt were increased obviously after crude aconite root was prepared.CONCLUSION The method is simple, rapid, accurate, and can be used for the quality control for Radix Aconiti lateralis praeparata slice.
