Urban transportation planning and land-use planning

There exists the relationship of interaction between urban transportation and land use,and it is a urgent need to solve the problem that how to coordinate the relationship between urban transportation and land use by planners during the work of urban planning.This article analyzes the interactive planning model between urban transportation and land use,and points out that transportation system should not only meet the urban development,but also guide urban development.It also describes the integration of urban transportation and land use planning approach from the aspects of the land use and urban transportation development strategy,transportation corridors and urban spatial development,traffic differential zones and traffic strategies and so on.
