Efficacy of Several Common Used Coccidiostats Against Coccidiosis in Chickens

The efficacy of several common used coccidiostats against chicken coccidiosis in Guangxi was evaluated.The results revealed only Diclazulil had high efficacy,Amprolium had low efficacy and the others - Salinomycin,Clopidol and Halofuginone-had no efficacy.It means a lot of low efficacy or no efficacy coccidiostats have been used by the chicken producers in Guangxi.This is the main reason that the coccidiosis in chicken still can not be controlled at present in Guangxi.A proposal was made for evaluation and management of the coccidiostats on the market.
