Abstract

According to measuring model of the rail profilometer,the measurement system's hardware and software was designed based on DSP TMS320F2812.This paper mainly introduced the hardware interface of the DSP and the photoelectric encoder.The initialization of the EV module was introduced in detail,the same as the data acquisition and processing.The experiment indicates that the system can measure the rail head's appearance and calculate the vertical and lateral wear abrasion accurately and conveniently.
