Abstract

Objective: To analyse the features, characteristics and clinical value of MR imaging in parotid sialography in patients with Sjogren's syndrome. Method: Checking 32 patients with SS with 1.5T MR scanncer. Result: Representation of punctate, sphere, cavity and destruction were seen in the parotids involvement by MR, so did few normal main duct and intraglandular ducts. There were no lamellar or onion-derm imagings which appeared frequently is contrast sialography. Conclusion: MR technique can reflect structural abnormalities of the parotid glands early and objectively in Sjogren's diagnosis evidence.
