Abstract

The classification of non marine Jurassic and Cretaceous in NE, SE and SW China have been discussed. In this paper, the correlation between some non marine formations and the international marine standard stages has been also paid more attention. A stratigraphic sequence of 13 non marine Cretaceous formations in NE China has been proposed as the potential continental Cretaceous standard of China.
