Engineering Properties of Collapsible Loess and Its Foundation Treatment

Abstract

The collapsible loess is widely spread in the northwest of China,it always affect the actual project because of its special properties.The actual data of loess in the northwest of China are analyzed here,and the physical mechanism of the collapsible loess in nature is explored.Based on these,the relation between the collapsible coefficient and the foundation treatment model is established.And finally,the actual loess foundation project is analyzed for verifying,it is proved that the model is correct.
