Abstract
By introducing the concepts of citation identity and citation image,this paper discusses the relationships between them,and studies the author's research field,process of academic activities,academic and social relations,and impact on the other authors. The paper then makes an empirical analysis of 3 experts in the field of information science in China,the purpose of which is to provide the theoretical basis for evaluating an author and his works objectively and comprehensively.
