Abstract

Common ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia L.) and giant ragweed (Ambrosia trifida L.) were deleterious weed all over the world. They effected not only on production and life in our country but on local ecosystem. Chemical and physical controls were primary ways to control ragweed in our country at present, but they could not take good effect because of regeneration and seed dormancy of ragweed. Biological control including insect, microorganism, economic plant and allelopathy control of ragweed was in early developing level. Therefore, the main ways of control of ragweed especially biological controls were reviewed in order to found integrative control system of ragweed.
