Abstract
Urban tourism competitiveness is basic for evaluation of the present tourism development status and its potential.It also provides the way to enhance competitive advantages.This paper probes into the application of the quantitative method to evaluating urban tourism competitiveness.The author firstly establish an index system for evaluating the urban tourism competitiveness with the AHP method,then determine the relative importance value of the indexes,and give the methods of quantifying and dealing with the indexes,and of working out the synthetical evaluation value.In the end the author make quantitative evaluation and analysis of the urban tourism competitiveness of nine cities in Fujian province.
