Effects of different fertilizing and mulching methods on growth of flue-cured tobacco

Effects of different fertilizing and mulching methods on growth,agronomic characters and economic characters of new flue-cured tobacco variety C2 were studied in this paper. The results showed that,the plant type in the treatment of applying organic fertilizer was less than that of the conventional fertilizer application,its yield and output decreased. And the growing period at earlier stage in the treatment of plastic film mulching was moved up,the yield and output increased significantly than those of un- mulched and rice-straw mulching treatments,and the yields between the un-mulched and rice-straw mulching treatments showed little difference.
