Enlightenment of Multiple Intelligence Theory to Transforming Student Assessment Mechanism

This paper introduces Dr. Gardner's multiple intelligence theory which challenges the traditional intelligence theory and lays a theoretical foundation for education and teaching reform. Based on the multiple intelligence theory, the paper presents an idea on student assessment which is different from the traditional one. The paper also discusses the main intension and the enlightenment of the multiple intelligence theory to transforming student assessment mechanism in assessment function, assessment index, and assessment method.
