Clinical Observation on 120 Anal Fissure Patients Treated with TCM Ligating Therapy

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of the ligating therapy on anal fissure.Methods In the multi-centered,prospective,randomize-controlled clinical trial,240 cases with anal fissure were equally divided into treatment group and control group.The treatment group was treated with ligating therapy while the control group treated with resection.The operative duration and bleeding,incision healing duration,pain severity,canal resting pressure,and safety of both groups were observed.Results The operative duration was shorter and bleeding was less in the treatment group than in the control group(P0.01).There was no significant difference in the incision healing duration,postoperative pain VAS score,and anal canal resting pressure between two groups(P0.05).The postoperative bleeding of the treatment group was significantly less than that of the control group(P0.01).There was no significant difference between groups in recurrence rate in the 3-month follow-up(P0.05).Conclusion The ligating therapy for anal fissure is effective in result,easy to practice,and less bleeding during and after operation.
