Abstract
Objective To investigate the current status of ICU nursing human resources in 3A-level hospitals so as to provide reasonable suggestions.Method A total of 13 ICUs in 8 3A-level hospitals in Beijing were recruited and a self-designed questionnaire was employed to survey the status of ICU nursing human resources.Results The proportion of the nurses with college or above diploma was up to 90.54%.The title structure was not rational,nurse and the following titles accounting for 90.54%.Younger nurses accounted for a large proportion,and the rate of nurses aged under 30 years was 72.97%.The nurses qualified as ICU advanced practice nurse accounted for 29.05%.Conclusion Different levels and specialist training of ICU nurses should be improved and the number of nurses should be increased so as to guarantee the quality of ICU nursing.
