Abstract
Based on special characteristics of CAN bus the reliability and the efficiency of information traveling are analyzed.The basic structures and functions of integrated management system are proposed and a communications network is built for typical multiple units consisting two levels CAN bus.The needs of data traffic are satisfied between whole train and single carriage.The reliability of the network is discussed and the results show that the CAN bus can transfer the train data.The communication network of long multiple units suffers problems to low transfer rate and over load.The method for improving the situation is put forward.
