From higher education philosophy to institutional philosophy——Looking for philosophies guiding the institutional practices

Chinese universities and colleges present some features,such as ambiguous location,single destination,poor quality.One of the reasons is that there is no explicit philosophy guiding university and college.The researches on philosophy of higher education are unable to escape their heavy responsibilities.So,proposing to distinguish general philosophy of higher education from institutional philosophy,the latter should be the focus of research which can provide philosophy guiding for institutional development and practices.At the same time,make philosophical school as research approach to construct institutional philosophy.
