Abstract
Through respectively measuring the biomass of the standard wood of Larix kaempferi on and under the ground,both by the intensive operation and by the general operation, and on the base of the measurements, analyzing and calculating respectively the whole forst biomass of the two different forestry treatments. The result shows that the afforestation of Larix kaempferi on the loan of the World Bank by the intensive operation and the one by the general operation differ greatly, the measures of the intensive management can promote fast growth of all the organs of the Larix kaempferi, enormously raise the output of each unit and the whole woods, and it is the effective way to raise the production rate of forest.
