The problem of sustainable development is how to establish the harmony between human beings and their societies.The ethics of the sustainable development is a new environment ethics theory,which is come into being in the process of studying the sustainable development and the environment ethics.From the ethics angle,we analyses the Benthamism's ethics and the Pragmatism's ethics,and try to reveal the evolutionary process of the ethics of the sustainable development.Then,we point the hardcore content of the sustainable development ethics.That is,Harmony and Unite between human beings and nature.
