Abstract

The clinical specification of the Chinese Medical Association in 2007 published ‘Diabetes Prevention Guide in Traditional Chinese Medicine · Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy’as the basis, reference in August 2009 Chinese Medical Association,s psychiatry branch of endocrine metabolism to develop a ‘standard treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy comments draft’, integrated SATCM ‘Eleventh Five-Year’key Chinese medicine specialist diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) clinical cooperation group to promote the essence of certification programs to determine the DPN of TCM called ‘Xiaoke Bi Syndrome’, DPN,s TCM etiology, pathogenesis, disease-bit, the evolution of the law, clinical stage, syndrome differentiation, medicine therapy, external therapy, efficacy evaluation criteria set out separately to further promote and give full play of Chinese medicine in the treatment of DPN in the characteristics and advantages, standardized diagnosis and treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy behavior, promote the DPN in Chinese medicine to enhance clinical efficacy. Diabetic autonomic neuropathy does not belong to the scope of this specification discussion.
